Therapeutic Approach

Work With Me

A collaborative, relational approach, grounded in presence, honesty, and deep care.

My Clients

Who I work with

I work with adults across the lifespan and am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive space for folks from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I work with individuals and couples.

My clients are often the reliable friend, the over-extended colleague, the sometimes withdrawn partner, and the person who's juggling a million things.

I am particularly passionate about working with people who are navigating difficult relationship patterns, the weight of self-criticism, developmental trauma, and the quiet but pervasive effects of anxiety. Whether you are an adult stepping into your first major life transitions, a working professional managing competing demands, or someone seeking deeper meaning and connection, I know that healing is possible for you.

The Process

What to Expect

I create a warm and safe environment for clients to explore all parts of themselves and their lives, including parts that are subconscious or can feel impossible to work through.

In our sessions, you are heard and empathically attuned to. While our work is guided by your present-moment needs, I provide honest reflection and clinical insight to help you understand your patterns and move forward with intention.

We meet weekly on a virtual platform, giving you the flexibility to access support from wherever you are in California. Our work will be collaborative. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to attune, unearth and support your internal journey towards healing.

What We Work Toward

Growing in our Space Together

When working with me, we will support you to increase self-awareness, foster a more nurturing relationship with yourself, unburden parts of yourself that have been overactive, and uncover the agency you have to positively impact your life and the loved ones around you.

Increase Self-Awareness

Developing a clearer understanding of your inner world, your thoughts, feelings, reactions, and patterns, so you can respond rather than react.

Build Self-Compassion

Fostering a nurturing, honest relationship with yourself, one that replaces harsh self-judgment with curiosity and kindness.

Unburden Overactive Parts

Identifying the parts of yourself that have been working too hard protecting, performing and pleasing, and gently releasing that weight.

Reclaim Agency

Uncovering your capacity to positively impact your life, your relationships, and the world around you, not from obligation, but from authentic wholeness.

Therapeutic Modalities

An Integrative Approach

My work is informed by a range of evidence-based, relational approaches. I draw from what will best serve you, integrating methods flexibly to meet your unique needs.

A collaborative, non-judgmental approach to psychotherapy focused on self-discovery, free will, and reaching your full potential.
Understanding how early bonds with caregivers shape our patterns in present relationships, and gently rewriting those patterns toward security and trust.
Noticing how emotions and experiences live in the body (tension, posture, breath) and using that awareness as a doorway to deeper healing. This is particularly helpful in working with trauma in all of its forms and levels of severity.
Exploring the different "parts" within us (the inner critic, the protector, the wounded child), so each part can experience the recognition and compassion it deserves, in order to heal.
For couples navigating emotional disconnection, EFT helps partners understand the underlying emotional needs driving conflict and build a more secure, responsive bond.
Using the therapeutic relationship itself as a vehicle for healing: the connection between therapist and client becomes a living model of a safe, honest bond.
Uncovering unconscious patterns, beliefs, and defenses, and tracing them back to their roots, so they lose their hidden power over your present life.
Cultivating presence and grounded awareness, learning to observe thoughts and feelings without being swept away by them, creating more space for choice.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does therapy cost?
The session fee for individuals for 50 minutes is $190.
The session fee for a 60 minute couples session is $220.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes, I offer sliding scale rates. If you feel like we'd be a good match and you're experiencing financial difficulties, please reach out, I may be able to help.
Do you take insurance?
I don't accept insurance but I'm able to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Often, you'll either get some form of reimbursement, or you'll be able to hit your out-of-network deductible if you're in therapy long term.
Why work with an out-of-network therapist?
Working with an out-of-network therapist can offer greater privacy, flexibility, and continuity of care. Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and may place limits on treatment frequency or duration. As a private-pay therapist, I can tailor treatment to your needs without insurance-driven requirements.
Do you see clients in-person or just on telehealth?
I only see clients via telehealth at the moment.
What does a virtual session look like?
Sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, similar to a video call. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection. Most clients find virtual sessions just as effective and often more convenient.
Who do you work with?
I work with adults across the lifespan and am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive space for folks from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I work with individuals and couples.
How often do you see clients?
Sessions are scheduled weekly and I highly encourage most clients to keep a weekly cadence. However, there are exceptions. This is something we can discuss to find the right situation for you.
What's your cancellation policy?
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.
What if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?
That's completely okay, and honestly, it's one of the most common feelings people have. The consultation call is the perfect place to explore that uncertainty together. There is no commitment required.
