Getting to Know Me
A therapist who believes in your capacity for meaningful healing and authentic living.
About Me
At my core, I value connection, curiosity, authenticity, and growth. Outside of my work as a therapist, I'm a mother of two, an athlete, a yogi, an avid traveler, and someone who feels most at home in nature.
Parenthood has been one of my greatest teachers, offering daily lessons in patience, attunement, dependability and joy. Spending time outdoors and moving my body are essential ways I stay grounded and connected to myself, and they continually remind me of the importance of slowing down, being present and soaking in gratitude.
My experiences traveling and living abroad deepened my appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and ways of understanding the world. They also reinforced a belief that healing doesn't happen in isolation; it happens through connection, self-discovery, and supportive relationships.
My interest in this work was shaped by personal experiences with mental health challenges within my own family. Those experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity about what helps people heal, grow, and navigate life's complexities with greater self-compassion and resilience.
My Philosophy
Because I genuinely think it's the most meaningful and fascinating work in the world.
I've always been captivated by the human experience: why we think the way we do, how our past shapes us, what helps us heal, and what allows us to feel truly alive. Our mental and emotional wellbeing influences nearly every aspect of our lives, from our relationships and sense of purpose to the way we experience an ordinary Tuesday afternoon. Helping people cultivate greater wellbeing has always felt deeply worthwhile to me.
I also believe that every person has an innate capacity for healing. Beneath the layers of pain, anxiety, self-criticism, and hardships, there is something uniquely valuable and alive within each of us. My experience has shown me that healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about uncovering more of who you've always been and creating space for that to shine.
There is something incredibly moving about watching people reconnect with themselves, break free from destructive patterns, heal long-held wounds, and create lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling. It is a privilege to walk alongside people in that process.
What Guides My Work
Creating a space where you feel genuinely welcomed, safe, and cared for, every session.
Approaching your inner world with open, non-judgmental curiosity, never assumption.
Offering honest reflection and clinical insight, even when it's gently challenging.
Being fully here, attuned to you, moment to moment, rather than following a rigid agenda.
